| It is a pleasure to welcome all dignitaries and delegates to the biggest Orthopaedic Extravaganza with 7 Pre-Conference Workshops, a well structured C.M.E. Programme on "Paediatric Orthopaedics", 2 Orations, more than 300 free papers, the National Orthopaedic Quiz and 9 meetings of Sub-Specialities, IOACON'98 Jabalpur has set new standards for scientific programmes in our conferences. | ||
| The reponse has been so overwhelming that inspite of rejecting some papers for various reasons we have had to arrange the Guest Lectures in 4 halls and the free papers in five halls simultaneously without any lunch break. The sub-speciality meetings will be held in 9 halls on the afternoon of 19-12-1998. | ||
| The Scientific Committee has done an excellent job under the stewardship of Dr. Subir Mukherji, Dr. V.K.Raina, Dr. Hashmukh Verma, Dr. Alok C. Agrawal, Dr. Rajesh Bhargav and others. I am confident that they will also do wonderfully in the smooth conduct of the 4 day programme. | ||
